The bathing area of Bostelim offers peace and quiet and contact with nature as its predominant features.
On the border between the parishes of Fundada and São João do Peso, the Bostelim River Beach, a Blue Flag beach, is one of the most recent options in the municipality of Vila de Rei for relief from the intense heat of summer.
Surrounded by mountains rich in biodiversity with almost no human presence, the bathing area of Bostelim offers peace and quiet and contact with nature as its predominant features.
The Bostelim Rural Camp Site is also here. It is the starting point of the 9.5 km Rota do Bostelim walking route, which passes between irrigation channels, dams, mills and a centuries-old bridge.
The area reserved for bathing is excellent, especially for family visits and it is very safe for children and people who require greater care. The area adjacent to the water course has plentiful natural shade and a grassy area, offering full comfort to users.
