The Ensemble Nist-Nah, a percussion and gamelan collective led by Will Guthrie, will perform on June 21 in the Aldeia do Xisto of Fajão, Pampilhosa da Serra, presenting the third concert of the 2025 edition of XJazz – Jazz Meetings in the Aldeias do Xisto.
Formed in 2019, the group explores Southeast Asian sounds with a contemporary and experimental approach. Ensemble Nist-Nah is influenced and inspired by the various traditional musical forms of Indonesia and by gong-based music originating from Southeast Asia.
This performance is part of the Xclusive Xisto program "A Guided Journey Under the Starlight" taking place from June 20 to 22.
