On the 18th and 25th of November and the 2nd of December, ACTIVAR invites five classes from schools in the Lousã region to “Um Dia de Xisto” (Schist Day), taking them on a walk through the mountains, between Hortas and the Aldeias do Xisto of Chiqueiro, Talasnal e Casal Novo.

Along the way, students have the opportunity to do geocaching and, in Terreiro das Bruxas, various activities await them, including a bread workshop. Through experiences abroad, efforts are made to strengthen the relationship between young people and the territory that surrounds them.
