Covilhã’s Historic Centre comes back to life this August with guided theatrical tours and open-air concerts, as the 8th edition of “Summer in Covilhã’s Historic Centre” gets underway.

Every Friday throughout the month, actress Joana Poejo leads guided theatrical tours that bring the city’s history and heritage to life through performance. Each tour ends in an iconic and unexpected location in Covilhã, where — always at 9:30 PM — a concert by national or local artists takes place.
