The Municipality of Pedrógão Grande invites the entire community to take part in the Holy Week celebrations, a time of faith and tradition taking place from April 5 to April 20. This event, rich in religious and cultural significance, features various processions, masses, and liturgical ceremonies.

These celebrations allow the faithful to relive the final moments of Jesus Christ’s life, beginning on April 5 with the Procession of the Lord of the Steps and culminating with the Resurrection Procession on Easter Sunday. The event is organized by the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Pedrógão Grande and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Pedrógão Grande, in collaboration with the Municipality and Parish Council of Pedrógão Grande, the Volunteer Firefighters, GNR, the Pedrógão Grande Scout Group, the Pedroguense Philharmonic, and the Liturgical Choir of the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption.
