An Aldeia do Xisto in the foothills of the mountains and a river of crystal-clear water. The smell of nature in the air and the colours that dot the landscape. Big and small, young and old. Traditions and innovations, cuisine and local products. Traditional Music and dance!

Raíz d'Aldeia is a meeting of generations and a sharing of cultural and natural values. It's about dancing, living and reliving our traditions, and those of others too. It's a return to childhood, to the village, to the past, to our roots. It's feeling the warmth of the land and the freshness of the water. It’s walking barefoot and taking the dance and music in.

This year's Raiz d'Aldeia will be full of enchanting BALL-Trads and surprises, lots of surprises!
