In the Paperclay and Paperporcelain course, participants can explore these materials, discovering their delicacy, unique properties, and endless creative possibilities. A special material that needs equally special treatment, and there's no one like Patty Wouters to guide us through it.
After an introduction to paperclay and paperporcelain, followed by a practical demonstration, Patty will share with the group the distinct qualities of paperclay, its advantages and ways of handling it. Over the course of five days, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice different techniques for forming the paste and participate in the entire ceramic process, from preparing the paste to firing (1300ºC).
It's a course that allows you to create a series of porcelain pieces, individually designed and created by each participant, with the support of the trainer and assistants.
