The Xisto Villages will once again host the National Bearing Cart Championship (CNCR) on their roads, in an edition that will take place between February and December 2026 and cover several regions of the country. As part of the Xisto Villages Circuit, the championship will pass through different locations in the territory.

In 2026, the Xisto Villages Circuit will include four races counting towards the CNCR:

• 1st Aldeias do Xisto Circuit Race
  Sertã
  8 February

• 2nd Aldeias do Xisto Circuit Race
  Castanheira de Pera
  28 February

• 3rd Aldeias do Xisto Circuit Race
  Castanheira de Pera
  1 March

• 4th Aldeias do Xisto Circuit Race (Final)
  Silvares, Fundão
  12 July

The championship includes several categories in competition, including traditional and modified roller carts, as well as trikes, with races taking place on timed descents on asphalt roads. 

Participation in the CNCR is subject to mandatory registration, the cost of which is set per race and includes supervision of the activity, technical support and civil liability and personal accident insurance, in accordance with current legislation. Individual safety equipment is the responsibility of the participants, in accordance with the championship regulations.
