The roads of the Aldeias do Xisto are once again the hosts for another edition of the National Soapbox Racing Championships. There are five races in the Aldeias do Xisto Circuit which count towards the championship:

3 June: Mosteiro, Pedrógão Grande 

11 November: Álvaro, Oleiros 

25 November: Água Formosa, Vila de Rei

2 December: Aldeia das Dez, Oliveira do Hospital

8 and 9 December: Pedrógão Pequeno, Sertã

On 4 November the Special Extreme Soapbox Racing of the Aldeias do Xisto will take place in Aigra Velha, Góis.

There are 4 competitive categories:  Category A, Traditional, Modified and Tuning.
