On 8 and 9 November, the village of Açor, in the parish of Castelejo, municipality of Fundão, will once again be the meeting point for all those who appreciate the authenticity of Beira traditions. The Maúnça Arts and Flavours Exhibition returns for its 26th edition, bringing the best of gastronomy and crafts to the heart of the mountain range that gives it its name.

More than just an event, this exhibition is a celebration of the senses and community life. At the table, flavours with history shine. From maranhos and miaus (typical cakes) to rabbit in olive oil, chanfana and beans with cabbage, accompanied by medronho brandy and warm bread from the community oven, served in the warmth of the fireplaces and conversation.

Organised by the Municipality of Fundão and the Cultural and Recreational Association of Rancho ‘Os Pastores do Açor’, the Maúnça Exhibition is an invitation to rediscover autumn in the mountains, where tradition continues to bring generations together around flavours, memories and hospitality.
