On 11 January, Lousitânea – Liga de Amigos da Serra da Lousã (League of Friends of the Lousã Mountains) is hosting a traditional Almoço dos Reis (Lunch of Kings). It is a way of celebrating tradition and conviviality at the table, in an atmosphere typical of mountain villages.
The lunch will take place in the Schist Village of Aigra Nova, starting at 12:15 pm, and will feature a menu consisting of starters, wild boar stew and tigelada, evoking the strong, comforting and familiar flavours of this rural village.
Participation, at a cost of €15, is subject to mandatory registration, which can be done through Lousitânea's contacts.
