The Municipality of Proença-a-Nova marks another Holy Week with a calendar full of events.
The celebrations begin with the Encomendação das Almas in the village of Vergão on April 11. After a short break, the Easter events resume with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 9:00 PM, continuing until April 21, culminating with the Mass and Procession at the Church of Maxiais.
This Holy Week program invites the community to participate in moments of faith, reflection, and tradition.
