Through the support of the Aldeias do Xisto, the Caminheiros da Gardunha and Fundão Tall Hall, PES- Projeto Entre Serras (Between Serras Project) is organising a walk between Casal da Lapa and Vidual, and passing by the Santa Luzia Dam, on 19 July, starting at 7pm. 

The Firefly Route will allow those participating in it to admire the sunset from the dam, as well as the artistic intervention on the landscape carried out by Erik Samakh as part of the PES. Fireflies will therefore be a constant, as along the way you will often come across a large number of these insects.

The route is 6 km long and of medium difficulty.

Programme

• 7pm:  Departure at Casal da Lapa (Gather at the headquarters of the Caminheiros)
• 8.15pm:  Start of the hike
• 10.30pm:  End of walk - Snack

Registration, €3 for members of the  Caminheiros da Gardunha  and €5 for the general public, can be carried out here. This includes insurance, transport and a snack at the end. 

This initiative forms part of the Seeing is believing, revising is creating photography workshop, which is taking place in the Aldeia do Xisto of Barroca, from 15 to 21 July.
