The meandering landscapes of the Zêzere River that embellish the  Schist Walking Trail of Janeiro de Baixo  will once again be the setting for another edition of the Easter initiative taking place in Janeiro de Baixo.

Organised by the Parish Council, the event will take place on 20 April and will provide an opportunity to get to know the surroundings of the Aldeia do Xisto of Janeiro de Baixo and provide an opportunity for its participants to gather together. 

PROGRAMME

• 8.30am – Meeting at the Picnic Area (near the River Beach)
• 9am – Performance by the Bombos Ecos do Picoto – Meãs
• 9.30am – Initial briefing including delivery of food replenishment
• 10am – Start of the walk
• 11am – Entertainment at the arrival area with António Vaz and Sérgio Gonçalves
• 1pm – Lunch gathering
• 2.30pm – Performance of the Casa do Concelho de Pampilhosa da Serra Folk Dance Group
• 4pm – Entertainment with António Vaz and Sérgio Gonçalves
• 5pm – Filhó Espichada Tasting

Participating in the walk is free of charge. Lunch costs €5. Registration is mandatory and must be carried out by April 18, using the following contacts:
