From the 1st of December to the 5th of January, Christmas and the traditional lights and decorations spread across the Aldeia do Xisto of Candal, in the middle of the Lousã mountain.
Visitors can find several photo booths around the village, where they can record their visit, as well as illuminated letters in two spots. Santa Claus arrives in the village on December 22, at 3:30 pm. On the same day, there is also a Christmas Theater aimed at children and distribution of sweets.
