To celebrate the World Children's Day, the Ferraria de S. João Homeowner’s Association has prepared two activities for you that you will love!   You can go for a walk or interact with the vegetable garden of the village. 

Let’s visit the vegetable garden
We note the growth of the plants. We take care of the flowerbeds, we weed, water and repot the plants.

Ferraria Walking Trail
A walking trail through the village that takes us to visit the vegetable gardens and also the old goat paths on a climb up to Fraga Amarela.

Meeting Point: Mountain bike centre, from 9am to 9:30am
Activities:   09am - 1pm

These activities are part of the Aldeia Viva project which aims  to galvanise the village based on the promotion of rural, sporting, artistic and environmental activities, with children as the main target audience.
The aim is to take advantage of the village's resources and actively involve its inhabitants by recovering and fostering traditional culture.

As part of the Aldeia Viva Sunday Series another event will take place on 6 July.
