AigraCultura returns on 28 August to the  Aldeia do Xisto of Aigra Nova  to provide the opportunity to learn about local traditions and culture, thereby providing its visitors with a unique experience and an insight into the daily life of a mountain village.

The programme includes the “Broa bread Workshop”, musical entertainment by the  “Gaiteiros (Bagpipe Group) Rainha Santa”, the “Grupo de Músicas e Cantares da Várzea” and a show included in the Pianíssimo cycle: At the Piano with Helder Bruno.

PROGRAMME

• 10am:  Opening of the event |  Opening of the Traditional Schist Museum (Ecomuseu Tradições do Xisto) Nuclei |  Opening of the Knowledge and Flavours Market
   
• 11am: Animation with the bagpipes of the “Gaiteiros Rainha Santa” (bagpipe players)
   
• 11.30am: Broa bread Workshop
   
• 12pm: Lunch with music provided by the “Gaiteiros Rainha Santa” (bagpipe players)
   
• 3pm: Entertainment provided by the Grupo de Músicas e Cantares da Várzea
   
• 5pm: Pianissimo: At the Piano with Helder Bruno
   
• 6.30pm: Closure
