A biologist with a lifetime of international conservation work, Robin Bovey has always been inspired by nature and its beauty, superficially and within. For Bovey, there is a fascination for what a piece of wood contains that no one can unravel - not even himself - until he "opens" the material. And the best way to reveal the wood’s beauty is with a lathe. "Segredos Revelados” (“Secrets Revealed”) was the piece the artist displayed in the Agricultura Lusitana exhibition.
