Cristina Fonseca creates handmade contemporary basketry pieces, made by braiding plant fibres such as rush, wicker and wild olive. She worked with the Aldeias do Xisto as part of the Agricultura Lusitana project, creating the piece "Semente", made of chestnut wood strips.
